Martini
Denise Martini is a certified Hakomi practitioner, ordained minister with the Association of the Integration of the Whole Person, and Continuum teacher. She’s been involved in the Healing Arts since 1989. Her work draws on her ten years as a professional dancer, her background in massage therapy, her cultural curiosity and worldwide travel, and ongoing explorations of conscious movement practices.
Her passion is assisting others on their journey towards knowing and living their wholeness through embodied movement, presence and spiritual practices – the Art of Being Alive. Denise trusts the movement of love through the body. She uses Continuum, Hakomi, Re-Creation of the Self, trauma resolution, and mentorship in her work.
Denise knew in her bones she had found “home” when she attended her first Continuum class with Beth Pettengill Riley in 1995. She studied with Emilie Conrad, Susan Harper, and was mentored by Rebecca Lawson, who nourished her love and wonder for this practice. She has a deep interest and appetite for taking concepts from “theory and mind” into “embodied experiential explorations” back into her own daily life, private practice, classes and workshops.
Denise currently works with individuals and groups, in Sonoma CA. Her dedication to her own healing and spiritual growth brings the gift of deep, compassionate presence to everything she does.
