Katja-Bahini loves offering doorways to widen one’s range of possibilities in the sphere of sensuous awareness and perception through the practice of Continuum. She encourages a deeper participation in life through creative ways of self-expression.

Katja-Bahini is a dancer and dance facilitator rooted in the practice of contact improvisation and environmental somatics, informed by experiential anatomy through the lenses of the Axis Syllabus and Butoh dance.

Since 2012 she has been offering a wide range of creative formats and emergent practices for her clients to step into direct sensuous experience and expression through dance, movement and co-creation. Since 2018 she has been developing wilderness retreats both for mixed and women groups with the emphasis on reconnecting with the elemental life forces within and around and the more-than-human world.

Katja-Bahini loves to explore ways of transmitting embodied wisdom though movement, breath and sound demonstrations. She deeply honors and trusts in the power of stepping into one’s authority by consciously directing attention to particular life processes and holding space for the ways life wants to emerge and unfold through us.

She has a genuine interest in the art of shamanism and is dedicated to the rediscovery of ancestral indigenous wisdom through creative inquiry, intuition, playfulness and depth of experience.

Her previous study of organic agriculture with a main interest in the transformational processes of matter, permaculture, medicinal plant preparations, soil building and the world of fungi continuously inspires her work.
